This Eskort is highly efficient class of ship-assist/terminal tug, but with designs geared more towards economical series production. Vessels to these designs have been widely acclaimed for their overall design, and particularly their maneuvering, sea keeping and stability performance.
Outfitted with twin Z-drive, diesel-powered tugs designed for maximum efficiency in the performance of ship-handling duties for tankers, bulk carriers, and container ships in particular.
Although the basic designs are intended as dedicated assist tugs, working off a forward winch, design options can be readily included to outfit the tugs for any of the following services:
• Tanker escort service
• Fire-fighting
• Anchor-handling
• Aft towing
Accommodation; 2 officers, 3 crew cabins for 8 crews, total 10 person, mess, galley, stores, WC's and shower. All accommodation space is over the WL.
